Feeling anxious, job stress, work pressure, tremendous deadlines and no time for family, have become the buzzwords of today. But, hey, do you love your work? Do you enjoy how you are treated there? Your mood depends on what and how others talk about and to you?
Let’s resolve the issues and let’s take charge of your own mood, happiness and self-worth. That in no way has to do with how others behave with or talk about you.
First of all, remember that we are blessed as we are able to earn and live a healthy life, which many of the people around us might not be able to have. Secondly, think deeply about who you are. This body with XYZ name? Do you really think so? One day, when the light, the spirit or the energy leave this body, do you think this body’s importance will remain the same? No, because you are that spiritual energy that drives the body, the senses and the subtle organs (mind, intellect and resolve). Thus, the ultimate need here is to know yourself in depth and the supreme, who is the father and creator of this whole universe.
So, what to do? How to balance THYSELF and life, so that the above-mentioned buzzwords become meaningless?
Before starting your work routine at home or before you actually leave from home, make sure to go by the following checklist:
1. Have I spent time with myself and charged myself enough to radiate positivity the whole day? Absorb and forgive every subtle action and reaction I face.
2. Just sit with yourself (with certain meditation music, optional) and recite positive affirmations.
3. Say, for instance, that I am blessed; I have very healthy relations with everyone around me; God is my ultimate protector and he is showering and sheltering me under his canopy of blessings. I am full of energy; I am receiving and spreading positive energy from and to everyone around me. Everything is going to be the best with me.
4. With this practice you, “the soul” will feel charged and energised, which will eventually lead to a balanced day of emotions, relationships, work, family and self.
This will firstly help you manage yourself and secondly, the people around you (that can be your peers and family members). But a point of caution! Remember that you don’t have to control others. Rather, we have to focus on controlling our own selves, including the subtle (mind-intellect-habits) and the non-subtle senses and organs (what and how you see, say, and think). As it is what you see, that you consume and that ultimately formulates your nature!
Though obviously we do have the work profile, or even being a homemaker or a student, where at some point we have to coordinate and manage people that work under or sometimes with us and manage our family. Here we need to remember that, though we are instructing, in many of the scenarios people and things do not go with the flow. You still ensure to balance and control yourself and your emotions. Because one crucial thing that we need to comprehend is that each and every being has their own capacity and capability. Things that are quite easy and quick for us may be a tedious and complex task for others. So, we need to manage things and people with peace, humbleness and politeness.
Cautious and continuous evaluation: Charging yourself only one is not sufficient in itself, but rather a continuous and time-to-time evaluation. After every one or two hours, pause for one minute at most and recharge yourself with some positive affirmations. For instance, “I am a peaceful being; my vibration of positivity is spreading all around me”; “I am God’s loveful child, my loveful vibrations are making my family, my home and my workplace healthy, happy, positive and loveful.” These subtle thoughts of the mind actually work in creating the world around you.
We do not give much time to charge ourselves or accumulate positive power, but we tend to spend it quickly on useless things! Then carry ourselves with this depleted energy all day long, making ourselves weaker to face and deal with everyday situations.
That is why charging ourselves first in the early morning, before going to bed and at frequent intervals, is very crucial to maintaining that energy all day long. So that by the end of the day also we are full of power and positivity. A word of caution here: at the very beginning or end of the day, do not at all see or hear negative or wasteful things (especially reading news). As this is the time when your sub conscious mind is most active and absorbs and works through thoughts and vibrations on your whole body. Moreover, one needs to practice these positive affirmations before drinking water and having meals, so that whatever we eat or drink is also charged before its intake. This eventually is going to have impact on our subtle senses (mind-intellect-resolve).
At CU Online, you are really fortunate that you are being offered self-paced learning programs that allow you to successfully balance your work, lifelong learning, and yourself. Believe it, you all (the CDOE online learners) can put these do’s into practice and keep caution of the thoughts and how you receive others’ energy, whether you are at your workplace or engaging in our self-paced programs at CU Online. Just be really cautious about what you absorb about others—their weaknesses or strengths? We eventually become what we absorb, and we emit or radiate that.
So, for that reason, always have a check on the people you accompany -> your watchlist -> eventually your thoughts. Always! Remember always! Stay in charge of your own mind and feelings, because you are the master of your own feelings eventually. No one, really no one, can ever control your emotions and feelings through their behaviour! It is only we ourselves that, through the depiction of the situation and our thoughts, formulate positive and negative feelings.
Last but not the least: Practice that you are 100% wherever you are. That means, if you are having family time, be 100% there only; if you are at work, give your 100% there as well; if you are enjoying yourself or meditating, make sure that you are 100% engaged in it only; If you are engaging in your self-paced program with CU Online, stay 100% focused there. That said, be physically, mentally and emotionally engaged in the act you are into. Consequently, it will lead to balance in every sphere of life.
